MAP PREVIEW

The Video Guide teaches parents and therapists how to teach their
child.  Click on the link below and a sample video will open in a
new browser.  In this particular sample, the therapist had already
taught this child to identify an object (point to it) consistently, when
it stood alone on the table.  Therefore, she now places two objects
on the table so the child can learn to discriminate between two
objects, attend to the therapist, and follow a simple auditory
direction.  When a child masters a skill, he immediately "graduates"
to a more difficult program.

More detail on how to teach and control difficult behaviors along
with practical tips for structuring learning sessions to encourage
language is found in the entire Video Guide, in the MAP program.
