PACE is a 12-18- week intensive cognitive training program that addresses the root causes of learning problems.
We’re all familiar with the old notion
that the more you do something the better you get at it. When it comes to
learning, though, some of us could never “do it right” or “get
it” no matter how hard we tried. That’s because many of us never
really developed the skills we need to learn! While the ability to concentrate,
follow directions and grasp new concepts—called cognitive
skills—may come more easily to some than others, all of us
can acquire those mental tools and improve our performance at school or work.
Processing and Cognitive Enhancement (PACE), an intensive one-on-one training
program designed to strengthen the skills we need to learn how to learn through
drill exercises, and is a lifesaver for many children who struggle to do well
but fail.
