Programs for Children with Organizational and Attention Problems

4 PACE at National Speech

Processing and Cognitive Enhancement (PACE) is an intensive one-on-one training program designed to strengthen the mental muscles used in learning. This program, which uses specific exercises, is a lifesaver for children who struggle to do well.

Kevin worked hard at school and got lots of help from trained professionals.
But he still didn't "Get It".
Nobody could figure out why until now.

Recent studies show that nearly 85% of children like Kevin may be failing in school because they dont know how to learn.

We’re all familiar with the old notion that the more you do something the better you get at it. When it comes to learning, though, some of us could never “do it right” or “get it” no matter how hard we tried or how much extra help we received. That’s because many of us never really developed the skills we need to learn efficiently! While the ability to concentrate, follow directions and grasp new concepts—called cognitive skills—may come more easily to some than others, all of us can acquire those mental tools and improve our performance at school and home.

Does your child:
4 Have trouble sitting in class?
4 Have difficulty in understanding what he/she reads?
4 Constantly look up and down when he/she is copying material from the board?
4 Write slowly and does not complete his/her homework?
4 Have poor spelling or reading skills?
4 Confuse words (like "saw" and "was") or reverse letters?

If two or more of these apply to your child's condition, bring your child in to National Speech for an evaluation so he/she can be diagnosed and sucessfully treated for learning problems that don't seem to improve with just extra work or tutoring. Call us today to schedule a screening.
